Sutton Real Estate Company is kicking off the holiday season with its Meals for the Mission drive to benefit the Rescue Mission Alliance. Sutton’s founder, Malcolm Sutton, was profoundly concerned with helping the hungry people in the Syracuse area and spent decades collecting pennies to help the Rescue Mission and anyone in need. Sutton continues to help feed the hungry in the local community.

The Rescue Mission Alliance is the only organization in the community serving three free meals daily. No man, woman, or child is turned away. This is about 700 meals a day and nearly a quarter million meals a year. Each meal at the Rescue Mission costs only $2.34.

The expansion of the Clarence L. Jordan Food Service and Culinary Education Center will allow for more meals to be served in a home-like atmosphere. The center opens November 7th.

Sutton has a goal of donating 5,000 meals to the Rescue Mission by the end of 2019. They have started the drive by donating the first 500 meals!

If you are interested in donating or are looking for more information, please contact Sutton Real Estate Company at 315-424-1111 or visit rescuemissionalliance.org/MealsfortheMission. Any gift you can give will make a huge difference in the life of someone in need.
