Sutton Real Estate Company is proud to announce its’ recent hire of Shelly Casterline, who joins Sutton as Controller.

 

Shelly comes to Sutton with over 20 years’ experience in the real estate accounting industry. She is a graduate of Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York and is a Central New York native. Shelly’s responsibilities at Sutton will include supervision of the company’s accounting department, strategic financial planning of the company, managing the company’s financials, as well as overseeing the financials of the properties currently under Sutton management.

Sutton Real Estate facilitates three sales totaling $4.735 million

Syracuse Property Management Company

Kenneth Tyminski of Sutton procured the sale of 226-230 West Genesee St., which is a 34-unit apartment building with two store fronts in the downtown area. The building sold for $3.28 million.

 

Matt Buroni of Sutton represented the seller in the sale of two multifamily/student housing properties at 1005 & 1007 Harrison St. The two properties have 12 units with 20 beds total and sold for $1.35 million.

 

Larry Socia and Richard Robb of Sutton, together with Jones Lang LaSalle arranged the sale of a building at 8929 North Seneca Street in Weedsport to Lunkenheimer Craft Brewing Co.

Amy Baker Joined Sutton Real Estate Company

Amy Baker joins Sutton Real Estate Company as a property accountant.

 

Baker has been in the real estate industry since 2001.

 

Her previous positions included, housing cash management, accounting and paralegal.

 

Baker holds certifications in TCS and TCSA for tax credit property alliance. She resides in Camden.

State Grant Approved for East Lake Commons

East Lake Commons Project

 

East Lake Commons was recently approved for an $800,000 grant to help fund the revitalization project.

 

“Sutton Real Estate Cos. will demolish the distressed Midtown Plaza shopping center at 83-87 East First St. in downtown Oswego and build an 88,000-square-foot, six-story  building with mixed-income apartments, and retail, commercial and office space. The project would cost $28.6 million and create 20 permanent jobs.”
