Sutton Real Estate Company is proud to announce its’ recent hire of Taylor Light, who has joined the company as a Marketing Intern. Taylor is currently studying marketing at Le Moyne College with anticipated graduation in May of 2019. Taylor started her marketing journey at a small third- party Amazon warehouse where she did website and social media work. Taylor has now joined the Sutton team to further her learning and marketing skills.  Taylor is passionate about marketing because she feels it is the best way to connect to current and perspective clients.

Bart Feinberg represented the seller of Valentine Gardens Apartments, a 50-unit apartment complex, on Merrill St. for $2.45 million. John Thomasmeyer represented the seller in the sale of 123-129 East Willow St., a 10,500 s/f building, for $435,000. Ken Tyminski sold 2312 Erie Blvd. East, a 18,696 s/f former bowling alley for $350,000. Feinberg represented the tenant, Bankers Healthcare Group, in a 13,500 s/f office lease at the Lofts at Franklin Square on Plum St. Feinberg was the sole broker on two leases at Big Apple Plaza on US Rte. 11 in Watertown. Yellow Dog Wine and Spirits leased 2200 s/f. Karen Cannata-LaRocca represented the tenant, Jack Werksman Marketing, in a 4,300 s/f office and showroom space lease at 405 Spencer St.

Midtown Plaza redevelopment moving forward

East Lake Commons Project“East Lake Commons LLC, an affiliate of the Syracuse-based Sutton Real Estate Company, is proposing an 88,000 square foot mixed-use facility at the corner of East First Street and East Cayuga Street. The development, which would include more than 70 apartments and commercial space, was one of a dozen projects receiving funding through the 2016 state Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI).”

 

“Sutton Companies President Louis Fournier III said approval from the planning board would be “a good milestone to meet,” and noted the architectural and engineering drawings are now being finalized. If all goes as planned, Fournier said the company expects to start construction sometime in October.”

Lewis and Dick Robb of Sutton represented Franklin Properties LLC for the lease of 3,726 s/f of office space in The Foundry, 432 N. Franklin St. Lewis and Robb represented Franklin Properties for the lease of 13,500 s/f of office space in the Lofts at Franklin Sq. to Bankers Healthcare Group.

Fournier brokers $9.5 million sale of Medical Center West; $475,000 sale by Feinberg; $250,000 sale by Thomasmeyer; 1,650 s/f lease by Nave Fehlman

Louis Fournier, president of Sutton acted as the exclusive broker in the sale of Medical Center West, an 82,000 s/f medical center. The sale price was $9.5 million. Bart Feinberg brokered the sale of Syracuse Pool & Patio, a 6,400 s/f retail building located at 353 Grant Ave. in Auburn. The sale price was $475,000 John Thomasmeyer represented the buyer, Pawn King Corp., in the purchase of the former McDonalds. The 6,000 s/f retail building located at 5849 East Circle Dr. in Cicero sold for $250,000. Kristen Nave Fehlman represented the landlord in the lease of a 1,650 s/f retail space to H & R Block at Centre 31, located at 6263 State Rte. 31 in Cicero.
